We are currently recruiting for:

Administrator

The Belfast West SIF Numeracy & Literacy Project Administrator will be central to Belfast West SIF Education structure and the post will primarily involve: administrative support to the SIF Numeracy & Literacy Project Coordinator and associated staff, provision of secretariat services to the Belfast West SIF Project and various committees; maintenance of administration support systems for the SIF Numeracy & Literacy Project Coordinator to ensure the successful delivery of the Belfast West SIF Numeracy & Literacy programme of work.

Key Stage 2 Teacher (out of school hours, 3 posts)

The role of the Belfast West SIF Numeracy & Literacy Project Teachers will be to provide literacy and numeracy services outside of school hours to children identified as in need of additional support. Successful candidates will work with the Project Coordinator, schools and community based After School providers to design KS2 numeracy and literacy programmes bespoke to individual needs and circumstances. Teachers will be responsible for design, coordination, delivery and monitoring of supports that demonstrably raise literacy and numeracy educational attainment in the Belfast West SIF zone and will develop relationships with stakeholders which will encourage their active participation in accessing services.

Key Stage 2 Home Based Interventions Teacher (out of school hours)

The role of the Belfast West SIF Numeracy & Literacy Project KS2 Home Based Interventions Teacher will be to provide literacy and numeracy services outside of school hours to children identified as in need of additional support in a home environment. The successful candidate will work with the Project Coordinator, schools and community based After School providers outside of school hours to design KS2 domiciliary based numeracy and literacy support programmes bespoke to individual needs and circumstances. The home based interventions teacher will also work with parents to offer supports for school routines and study routines and to encourage parents/carers to take part in an educational support programme to increase engagement between parents, families, schools and community groups. The successful candidate will be responsible for design, coordination, delivery and monitoring of supports that demonstrably raise literacy and numeracy educational attainment in the Belfast West SIF zone and will develop relationships with stakeholders which will encourage their active participation in accessing services.
